Acoustic Technologies Extends Availability of SoundClear Full-Duplex Speakerphone Software to StarCore Processor Cores

Acoustic Technologies, a leading developer of high-quality
communication solutions for voice telephony, today announced the
availability of SoundClear(R) ATS5500 software for the StarCore(TM)
SC1000 family of processor cores. The ATS5500 SoundClear speakerphone
software integrates echo cancellation, sound enhancement, and noise
cancellation to enable natural bi-directional conversation with crisp,
clear speakerphone operation. SoundClear software is ideal for
applications using SC1000-family processor cores and subsystems such
as mobile handsets, mobile conferencing devices, video conferencing
equipment, and other hands-free telephony devices. As a StarCore
Alliance member, Acoustic Technologies will provide SoundClear
software for StarCore licensees to improve voice quality and help get
their products to market faster.

hands-free operation. SoundClear software for cellular handsets offers
high-quality full-duplex hands-free operation, noise reduction, and
improved speech intelligibility with graphic equalizers, enabling

high-quality voice with minimal MIPS and memory usage.
